RICHARD ARTHUR LEE

November 7, 1941- September 7, 2021

On September 7, 2021, Richard Arthur Lee of Roy, Utah, was freed from the long suffering of physical illness. He was 79 years of age. Born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 7, 1941, Richard was son to Robert Joseph Lee and Catherine Cordella (Maiyer) Lee. He was little brother to Betty Elaine Grosso, Robert Eugene Lee, and Patricia Ann Walker.

Richard was a 35-year, decorated veteran of the United States Airforce. He was a small arms expert marksman, and served his country honorably in Vietnam. Richard wed his bride, Carolyn Beryl Turnbow on December 23, 1976. The military gave them opportunity to live abroad in Germany and Turkey, but shared most of their adventures stateside, laying down roots in Utah. Richard’s good wife preceded him in death. He was eager to hold her hand; to care for her once again, and evermore.

Richard is survived by many loved ones: family, friends, and caregiver, Angela Marie Keen. He is cherished by those he leaves behind, but especially by the loyal heart of his little black dog, Cinder. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.in Coalville, Utah at the Wanship Cemetery.
