Mr. Richard Franklin Roberts passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021, in Ogden, Utah. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 26, 1933 to Chalma Allen and Inez Roberts. He spent the majority of his life living in the Los Angeles and Fresno areas of California before moving to the Ogden area.
Mr. Roberts was a retired bowling lane installer and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including fishing, camping, traveling and automobiles.
He leaves behind his sons, Rick (Debbie) Roberts of West Valley City, UT and Robert (Kim) Roberts of West Weber, UT. He is also survived by his brothers, Ray (Beverly) Roberts of Bullhead City, AZ, Jim (Debbie) Roberts of Hawaii, and sisters Mary (Ron) Platz of Coarsegold, CA and Mildred of California. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Bob Roberts, Donald Johnson, Leonard Johnson, Albert Roberts, sisters; Dorothy Greek, Beulah Sigmund, Iris and son, Doug Roberts.
His is also proceeded by the true love of his life, his beautiful wife Jackie. “Together Again”.
A funeral service for Mr. Roberts will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Ogden. Visitation for Mr. Roberts will also be at Myers Mortuary on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The burial will take place at the Clovis District Cemetery, in Clovis, California, on May 10, 2021, at 1:30 p.m.
