Ruth Bingham Shulz


CLINTON - On Tuesday May 8, 2007 Ruth Bingham Shulz, Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend peacefully passed away.

Ruth was born July 23, 1922 in Wilson Lane,. She was the fifth of seven children, born to Edwin Aldous Bingham and Martha Victoria Erickson. She married John Gerald Shulz on June 14, 1944. They were later divorced but through that union she was blessed with four sons.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a deep and abiding love for the gospel. She was a devoted primary teacher, visiting teacher and loved to attend the Ogden Temple.

Surviving are her sons, Jerry (Shannon – deceased) of Roy, Jeff (Lyn) of Hooper, Pete (Heide) of West Warren and Dave (Carla) of Sacramento, California, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Eileen (Walt) Underwood, Virginia Singleton, Phyllis Denkers, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wayne Bingham and Glen Bingham, and one sister, Bernice Thompson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all those who cared for her at Country Pines Assisted Living.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hooper Stake Center, 5375 South 5900 West in Hooper.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West in Roy and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center in Hooper.
Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
