Sharon Alice (Holman) Cruser

Sharon Alice Holman Cruser left mortality on February 3, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1937 in Salt Lake City, UT. She is the daughter of George Holman and Eva Ruth Lunt Holman.

Sharon grew up in McGill, Nevada. She attended elementary school in McGill and high school at White Pine County High School in Ely. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where she received her bachelor’s degree. That is where she met Lynn and they were married on August 17, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

After their marriage, she taught music in Idaho Falls, Idaho and at the Utah School for the Blind. She also taught piano and voice privately.

Sharon was a member of Camp Harmony of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed that association very much. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.

Sharon’s greatest skill is that of wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Lynn; her daughter, Sharalyn (Trevor) Christensen; and preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Jean; her parents; and sister, Darlene Reading.

Services for Sharon will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. and from 9:40-10:40 prior to services.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 East 300 South, Brigham City, UT.
