Obituary

Steven McKay Prisbrey, our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Steven was born in St. George, UT to Randy and Anne Prisbrey on August 8, 1975. He was the third of six children. Steven was born ten minutes before his twin, best friend and brother, David. 

Steven graduated from Weber High School in 1993 and obtained his bachelor's degree from Weber State University in Technical Sales. 

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served faithfully for 2-years in the Dallas Texas mission. He loved the Lord, the Church and served in many capacities. He loved serving the youth and was in many young men's presidencies. He was currently serving as stake high counselor.

Steven married his sweetheart, Erica Weloth, on February 23rd, 2006, in the Ogden, Utah Temple. They were married for 15 wonderful years. He was a devoted, loving husband and father. Steven and Erica have three beautiful children, Dallas (11), London (8) and Rome (4). His family was the love of his life! 

Steven was an amazing business professional. He worked for Colgate-Palmolive for 15 years. He loved his company, his co-workers and the dental community he called on. He was also an impressive entrepreneur. 

He loved to golf, late-night walks, hiking in the mountains near his home, taking drives and he especially loved the holidays! Steven loved the Utah Jazz and was a passionate fan. He loved sharing his interests with others. He loved growing up and living in North Ogden. Steven loved politics and had the opportunity to serve on the North Ogden City planning commission. Steven was known for his genuine kindness and caring for all he met. Many who knew him loved his Christlike attributes.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, his sweet children, his parents Randell and Anne Sneddon Prisbrey, his favorite sister Stacy (Kelly) Peterson, his brothers Brett (Chris), David (Sarah), Jared (Bekah) and Michael (Ashlee). He is also survived by his in-laws Linda Weloth, Kurt (Crystal) Weloth, Amy Weloth and Marcie (Riley) Kenner and Father-in-law Arthur (Cindy) Weloth, brother-in-law Parker (Alexis) Weloth. Steven was loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 29, from 5-8pm at the North Ogden East Stake Center, 2870 N. 900 E. North Ogden, UT 84414. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 11:00am with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:30am at the same address. Steven’s funeral service will be live streamed here on his obituary page.

Our family has been overwhelmed with the amount of love and support we have received from those who have known and loved Steven. Thank you!
