Tammie (Carling) Singleton

Tammie Carling Singleton, 62, spread her wings and joined the angels in Heaven on March 30, 2023.  She was born October 12, 1960, in Ogden, Utah to Francis and Gay Carling.

Tammie was full of life and up for most adventures.  She loved the outdoors and crafting, but her family was everything to her.  She married the love of her life, Larry Singleton, on July 17, 1980.  They enjoyed many trips and experiences together.  Raising their three children was the biggest adventure of all, and together they created many amazing memories that will be cherished forever.

She graduated from Clearfield High School and had completed some classes at Weber State.  She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.  Tammie enjoyed her career of caring for children and had worked at the Child Development Center on Hill Air Force Base for the last 16 years.

Tammie is survived by her husband Larry; children Stacie (Philip) Hinojosa, Kevin (Aimee) Singleton and Brian Singleton; grandchildren Adrian, Oaklen and Brantly; mother Gay Carling; siblings Vicki (Steve) Shepherd and Debbie (Glen) Peysar; in-laws Gary (Michelle) Singleton, Dennis (Tauni) Singleton, Lynette Singleton, Mary (Chad) Strebel, and Darren Olmstead; along with many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father Francis Carling; sister Francine Olmstead; father and mother-in-law Robert and Clara Singleton; and brother-in-law Wayne Singleton.

We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11 am, with viewings Friday from 6-8 pm and prior to services from 9:30-10:30 am at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
