Tessa Lynn Nordfelt, born the 19th day of November 1947. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and neighbor, passed away, unexpectedly, the 13th day of January 2022. Tessa was proceeded in death by: parents Orlon and Desna Nordfelt, sister Susan Rytting (Marvin), brother Bruce Nordfelt, son Brian Kothman, niece Kristina Monson, and nephew Lonnie James. She is survived by many loving family and friends, including children, siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren and more.
Tessa was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended and graduated Granger High School in 1966. She met her first husband Joseph Ingram, they married in 1965. They welcomed their first daughter Shellie Ingram (Ada), and shortly after Tonya Bailey (Glenn). She was later divorced, and married Daniel Kothman, they were sealed in the temple in 1979. Together they had two children Tara Ledford and Brian Kothman.
One word to describe Tessa is Kind. She had a contagious smile and always had a love of life. Her laugh, smile, selflessness and love she shared so eagerly will always be remembered.
There will be a viewing at 11am on Saturday, the 22nd day of January 2022, with her funeral service following at the LDS Lincoln Ward Building, 590 West 2000 North, Layton, Utah.
The family asks that COVID guidelines be followed, masks will be required to attend.
