Our dear father, Troy Allen Stubblefield, returned to his loving Heavenly Father on Nov. 25, 2018. He was 83 at the time of his death.

Troy was born Feb. 21, 1935 in Leonard, Oklahoma, to his parents, Thomas Stubblefield and Elsie Anderson Stubblefield. He had 3 brothers. Sometime after Troy’s birth, his parents moved to Southern California.

Troy proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War from Oct. 1952 to Feb. 1956. After he returned home, Troy served as a firefighter for a few years in So. CA, until he went to work for CA. Public Utilities, where he worked and retired from in 1997.

Troy was married in 1956 and had 2 daughters; later divorced.

Troy married Marianne F. Anderson (aka Toni) in 1973 in Las Vegas, NV. They lived in Baldwin Park, CA until 1997 when they moved to Pleasant View, UT and resided there until his death.

Throughout their life together, Troy and his beloved wife enjoyed many activities including numerous camping and fishing trips with family and friends. Fishing was one of Troy’s favorite things to do, especially deep-sea fishing in their little boat Troy dubbed “Toni”.

Troy was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

Troy was preceded in death by his beloved wife; his parents and 2 brothers. He is survived by children, Chris Anderson, Laura Saunders (Dave), Larry Anderson (Audrey), Judie Morgan (Keith), Terri Johns (Ray), Don Anderson (Myla), Karen Stubblefield and Cathy Stubblefield. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all of the people from Independence Hospice, especially his nurse, Marcie Summers Thomas, who took such great care of him.
