Melvin Gray Wysong, 87, of Tremonton, Utah died February 1, 2018. Melvin was born on June 7, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana to William Carl and Audrey Geneva Bailey Wysong.
He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army, served during the Korean War.
Melvin married Eileen Lemond March 1951. They were later Divorced. He married Kay Cornell August 16, 1968 and they have been married happily for 49 years.
He graduated from Weber State College with an Associate’s Degree in Physics.
Melvin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He retired for Hill Air Force Base as a Computer specialist.
His father instilled a good work ethic in him while he was young. Melvin would make deliveries in the bakery delivery truck before school started each morning.
Melvin could build and fix anything. He loved to build and fly remote control airplanes and later to model trains. He also enjoyed reading.
The family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice for their loving care.
Melvin is survived his wife Kay Wysong; his children Nancy Stahler, Larry Wysong, Kathy Vincent, Brenda Fell, Lori Stoltenberg, Shelia Rosenau, Wendy Hack; 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William (Bill)
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11:00 am. with a viewing on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah
Interment will be at Washington Height Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
